Reminds me of stuff

Reminds me of games like UNreal Tournament and I have been playing a lot of Diablo LoD lately which has a lot of classical battle tunes in Harragoth. I very much enjoy this-it is well done for classical. OH! It also reminds me of Final Fantasy. Battle themes are cool-any other style you do should be a twist offa this stuff with some more "romance" and epic type stuff in it. SOrta liek the intro or bg theme for a great EPIC movie.

I will have to check in on you stuff in time.

Thanks for the lengthful Review and high rating. And particulary for all suggestions, and influences I may steal :D

If you check frequently I might have composed a piece or two sooner or later :D

Thanks! (If I get the time, I'll check out your stuff)

Hlsy fucking intro

The intro synth is godlike! I had to review this just to tell you I liked the intro. It was cool enough for a five-I dunno why I like it I just did. It had a pleasing ring in my ears. This almost reminds me of the remix tracks Rob Zombie made. hats off to you again my friend. Lastly, I can't make out what the sampled guy is saying...

You kick ass with the darkness

Rucklo responds:

Thanx alot man! The sample is me screaming "COOONTAAACT!!!" :D
When i get to my senses, im gonna try making more dark shit like this :)

Panning Ear-mind

Dammnit I forgot to ask you about the story behind the Carlita track and all with the therapy///

///This tune is crazy with the drums in and out and the lead gets all crazy in the end. The mix feels a little choppy jumping from one section of drums and synths to another and some soloing that you did. But I like the thumping bass and how you played with the drums. Good fun-if you want I got a friend from college who makes music alot like this with the drums-hit me up if you want to hear some of it for maybe a lil more inspiration (check my profile for info)

Thanx! :)

My kinda style

I read alot of the reviews and agreed with you many a time about LISTENING to the song with in itself. I really enjoyed feeling through the sound waves. I only wish it had more to it. More substance towars the end more drive...I kno the beat kicks in reall WELL third way in but I think you maybe should elaborate mroe towards the end. I am gonna give a five to you and download it-cuz it will fit nice on my soon to be NG mix tape for listening to on the bus on my way to music college :P

Keeo it wildstyle!

P.S. I dig the pulsating pad in the bkgrnd during the sorta chorus like part.

Rucklo responds:

Hmmm maybe you´re right, the climax may not be enough, since it has such a long buildup... and maybe the ending gets kinda , well, dull? I´m not sure, I´m gonna have to make a new song to decide. How to build a song is many times where much of my inspiration goes, if you catch my drift :)
Thanx alot for the review man, it´s highly appreciated!

Bassline Madness

That bassline is ICECOLD!!!!

I dig it and the beginging arp like sytnh.

I am jealous of your GOLD track as the dood below me posted.

JAG

Carcase responds:

Don't be jealous. Jealousy leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to suffering =(

YES

This is some of the better hip hop shit I have heard on NG. This beat bumps my subs. But it seemed some of the instrumentals were a little to quiet. NIce shit otherwise!

Keep it wildstyle!

I'll be checkin in on more of these to come...

stl-product314 responds:

Thanx man. There will be plenty more to come

I think the original Clubbed to Death is one of the most amazing peices of music I have ever heard. Grats on successfully attempting a remix of it. It is quite unique to hear that leading guitar in the mix. I miss the piano and the emotional orchestra from the orignal.

Sorry to say though-common to FL the beat sounds a little cheap and it killed my sub-woofer with the over used bass pedal. I hope that you will someday be able to integrate your true drum skills with a quality drum kit either mic'ed or electronically connected to yoru comp.

Otherwise good jams!

Keep it wildstyle!

NEVR responds:

yeah i know what you mean about that bass. had difficulty with it at first, but hey, first go and everything...

cheers for the review -- wildstyle all the way!

NIce drive!

After listening to the top five and then about 8 other tracks, I have decided this is prolly one of the best i have heard tonight-all though it has alot that needs to be fixed. The initial intro is what grabbed me and then the lead in-things sorta fell apart after that. The mix about 3/4 thru needs some tweakign on the lvls otherwise it has that techno rave element to it that makes me a little cheerful inside-which is a warm feeling after these last few weeks.

JAG

I'll bounce a five for the home team!

Gporev responds:

thanks for the kind words and for the pertanant criticism, i'll readly admit it needs some overhalling before its all well and good. I kinda gave up on the intro when making this cuz i couldnt get it to sound decent. But in either case thanks for listening.

BLEEDING!

Your crazy panned glitch 8-bit drums are causing my ears to bleed! Try subtle pans like 35% to 60% left or right!

-Sorry it was so painfull I had to comment!

Waggit responds:

Ummm i did tkin this was a problem, do u have surrond sound

True Originality?

I am curious-for I have the MIDI files for that video game and they sound quite a bit better in quality and mix and all-which makes me question if you attempted to regenerate the synth all on your own? If so you did a fairly accurate job, but if not then I am not at all pleased with your work. Frankly, I am quite stuck on the fence on either side of this dilema (as shown in scores I wasn't sure if you get a good score or not in Effort). Please respond and relieve me of my inquiries-I hope the best of answers. Keep ti wildstyle!
JAG

Waggit responds:

Where can u get midi file?

I have a degree in Recording and Engineering.........
so, what now!? I'll just make music...
