BAM!

Shit jsut kinda popped into my ears before I knew it lol!

Nice grungy tone the one synth. This is a great sounding track and a considerable option for the compilation discs I make. Unfortunately tho, it is so short I might jsut have it as a filler effect in between larger songs!

NICE PUNCHY BASS.

Keep it wildstyle!

Syntrus responds:

hey thx dude

noice

The intro is phat. I like it lots.

This peice coudl use some mixing, IMO. I wasn't the greatest fan of the robotvoice thingy, it could have used some compression to control the HF peaks. But the beat is funky, and it kinda reminds me of some crazy ass 80's shit were people found synthesizers but they werent sure how to exactly harness its amazing power to the maximum. This resulted in crazy expiramentation that most people often don't hear or create these days-I don't think you could get more creative with this. :)

Additionaly, the piano thing was very cool in the end there. The song is growing on me as it loops :)

Syntrus responds:

This track is like everything else i do 80's style imo i loved that time in electronic history.

Very cool bro

This track does have some interesting house elements in it. Both old school and new (new- being more of the electro parts). I was happy with your fitting choice of drum sounds. When the song fully took off with the bassline it reminded me of the Best of CDs that you sometimes see on TV and some crazy aunt thought I would like for a gift (so I connected with it there). I can't see this as the kinda house you would see in a retro-like house playing club.

Then again I am no expert on the genre. This is good.

GangsterRapper responds:

Yeah, it's a mixture of both. I was trying to give it a minimal feeling. Not bothering with drum rolls and such things.

Thanks for the review.

Returning the favor.

I was going ot return the favor by reviewing one of your submissions. Unfortunately this is all you have, and it seems as though most everyone has already covered all that needs to be said for this and you future of music making.

I will return at a later date to hopefully give you a more meaningfull review!!

BlackPlastic responds:

You should have given me a zero. LIEK LOL

Mixture-ness

You have a ton of mixed synths and samples from what I can hear, lots of activity in this song.

The bassline is the hottest part of this track, although I really like alot of the arp synths (thats what I call 'em anyway, the kind you would us a step mapping device [i.e. Matrix in Reason] and prolly a gate)

In some parts I think you could have mixed it better, but this is arguably a tough task with all the stuff going on. It was good to see you facilitated pans and filters to help out tho.

I'd analyze more specifics-but there is alot, as I said, going on.

NOICE!

5/5

Erectronik responds:

Thanks for the review, it's nice to see another Reason user on NG, as sometimes many FL'ers are complete nubs, no offense to those pro FL'ers :) but anyway, the arp synth I think you're talking about is just a Combinator patch I made, and I just made the gate myself by automating the volume for one section (Square-ish method) and just copy and pasting :)

loop bad-full song good!!

I like the bassline in the background-and the kick with it. The synths were cool, kinda clcihe, but then again you were aiming for a particular theme or sound. Its cool. The pinao does sound good with the beat, now all you need to do is add some kickin' breakdowns and mix it up a bit. Then you would have a great FULL song!

Can't wait to here the final version of this...

BMC-Audio responds:

thanks lol! im not making a full vrsion tho...

FL--ew

J/k, my buddy has gotten me into FL so its alright, But I bet this song would be even better in Reason.

Sounds like this is a powerful chorus in a song that may have a good build up to it-I can't wait for a finished peice. Sorry I can't say much off of such a small sample. Lotsa high pitched stuff tho, you may need a compressor on that reverbed high pitch flutey synth.

Keep it wildstyle-I cant wait 4 more!

SolusLunes responds:

Agreed. FL makes me go eww. But it's all I have to work with at the moment :D

High pitched flutey- would you believe that's a piano? :D

WOW

I just had to review on this in retrospect. I can't believe how far you have come since this date-it's almost scary. But then again I am so glad u never gave up, because of the future favorites of mine like Burning. Or Lunar rave, or or all those other good ones and the list builds from there--maybe I should stop here.

Didn't you earn the rewared for most improved last year? Maybe you should have.

Keep learning and edging your style, while I wait for some updates-considering your last submission as of now dates back to June! You must be diing to create more.....

SolusLunes responds:

Hahahaha! I can't believe someone actually reviewed this piece of crap!

When I made this, I was using a copy of FL 3.4. And this was before I discovered VST plugins, even. Or the mixer. Or FUCKING ANYTHING.

But hell yes, I'm doing new stuff, as much as I can! :D

this is MP3?

Wow, and to think I almost went to sleep a few minutes ago....

A favorite lyricist of mine once pronounced to some effect that: every four minutes of your life u spend listening to something is four minutes of your life u will never get back.

KB-thnak you for using up four more minutes of my life (and the shit keeps looping :D)

I truly cant believe this is an MP3 version. It reminds me of Aphex Twin-with a softer brighter feel to it in most parts, crazy depth too. I could go on mentioning every amazing part of this song but no one would ever want to read such a long review.

My buddy from music college makes music similar to this in Acid, so I get annihilated by this style so to say...

Yours specifically, amazes me. I envi your talent. And you do mix bloody well!

If possible I would like a copy in a non-mp3 format?! aim=beatmasterJAG or=jag763wtf@yahoo.com

Kingbastard responds:

Thanks very much for the review, i have pm'ed you a link on NG and also sent the same link to you via email so you can download a hi-fi version of the trk.

beta...

The synths sound a little cheesy, except for the break up melody right after the drums in the first section. (W/e that defines lol) They all compile well together in the end. But the sound quality just needs an overall improvement.

I like the iconic intro that prolly eludes to the title "TechWreck" with its drone like decay to lowness death. :)

This would work well in a VG!

Keep it Wildstyle!

BMC-Audio responds:

thanks for the review, man. i'll be sure to check out your music!

I have a degree in Recording and Engineering.........
so, what now!? I'll just make music...
