Gotta change my pants before this review....

Yeah, I must admit you had me from the start. Great ambient work. Love the drums. Real easy beat to flow with, and a deep vibe bass groove. Makes you wanna dream...definately worth a d/l, recognition, big ups, and a fat FIVE. You can get lost in the space of sound you made. I have no true critques--:/ lol

Keep it wildstyle!

Thump thump

Decent dance track. The piano stuff reminded me of something from Coldplay :] <---I hope thats not an insult...I am not much a Coldplay guy, so I prolly shouldnt even name drop.

What kind of workday would inspire this?! Maybe it was your desire to go hit the club and get loose.

Keep it wildstyle!

Thanks for reviewing beatmasterJAG!
Reminds you Coldplay? That's not an insult, they have some good piano pieces! Thanks. :)
I wanted this piece to reflect a hectic day.
I wake up, its kinda slow (piano). Then I rush to make the train (The beat and start of synth). Sleep on train (slowdown after beat). Get to work, rushing around (beat and everything). Slow down for lunch (short beat and bass part). Rush to finish work/get on train (synths and everything). Long and slow ride home (piano fading out).
haha. That's what I wanted it to be like.

Again thanks for your review!

GREAT START.

Yeah it sounds like an Epic Adventure is ABOUT to start-make this a little bit longer so the loop isnt so redundent and I could see this in a game somewhere! Seriously make it longer!

Mario rocks!

I love playing mario--I think I beat SuperPaper Mario on my new Wii in like 8 friggin hours or less or something-crap is so addicting. (prolly not the best time in the worl but eh)

I like the verbed piano complimenting the simple synths little main melody. And how it plays the other harmonies and jus the chords. FUnny little remake :] Suprised to not hear it all in techno dance crap.

5/5 just for that!!

Lynchian persay?

Sounds like something from a David Lynch film: a little depressing, sort of spooky, and definately mysterious. It urges you to look and think beyond the face value of what your seeing and/or hearing..

Too bad it was so quiet...

~JAG

5/5 for a hand!

Cosmos8942 responds:

That is why we have volume control XD haha...but yeah...I thought it would sound worse if I had made it louder T.T. Never checked though =.=. Thanks for the review, and yes, depressing, spooky, and a bit mysterious was what I was aiming towards^^

Goose bumps = priceless

You could seriosuly give little kids nightmares with this one...they have the imagination you have the soundscape. Good rumbles, and rippling, rolling thingalings in the BG. Strange ominous harpsi synth thing kinda flutey with dissonance every now and then. I enjoy this here Audio by Rig. :p

Save this one for Halloween and throw a haunted house party :] ...in the basement....

Keep doing what you do bro!
JAG

Rig responds:

Will do! Thanks for the review. I'm trying to create more soundscapes, so look out for more ambi-weird pieces like this. haha

Intruiging...

There are some interesting ideas put into this one. The dissonance is great. The strongest part of the track I think. You use your percussion in very odd ways-but it really adds to the feeling of the music, instead of having a constant generic beat. I like the dribbling synths that fall into nothing. Very interesting to listen to.

When listening to this, I was reminded of Aphex Twin's earlier works in his career. Work on your style and you could head into an interesting genre of music like he did...

Also like that guitar sample in the backgorund (I think that is one?!) Cool effect

Keep it wildstyle!

not too happy :[

This track was kinda melancholly. Lil depressing no? I was hoping it to be a good dance song. It would work for a horror film tho. Interesting notations-do you play?

Keep working at it! Learn and grow on music.

Staxitix responds:

I've listened to this song a few times now, and realised it gets worse :( it's my worst song on NG in my opinion.. However, I've got a newer one in the work to make up for it..

Thank you for the review though :)

...clap...

Rap is actually my second hat, i have a vocal studio in my basement and I produce a healthy amount of tracks. As for this one it fits my tastes. A little excessive sometimes on the bass drum rolls. My boys would say you have to much VG sound to it all-prolly comes from the electronic background. They are always telling me the same thing, sorta like, "Your track sounds like a video game or something." Rappers--what do they know about making tracks, lol

W/e the z3ta is a hot synth-good work with it ;]

~JAG

languid-phenomenon responds:

woooooooooooooooow sorry for such a late response lol. Yea, thats definately the elctronica background right there ^^; Lol.....as for rappers and making tracks.....there's a few out there who seem to get it XD

Love z3ta, glad you liked how i worked it in XD
(lol theres nothing wrong with having ur music in a video game.......i think it woudl be freakin sweet XD)

More ambient, less dance?

It's a tough call...

I really enjoy the ambient parts in themselves-and the trance elements almost ruin it all-but then again during the break back to the ambient it all kind of makes sense. So I am torn between the two.

Maybe try working on a remix of just an ambient version-or man up and kill a great style by perfecting these transition and synth choices. I dunno -least take out that goofy tee bee sounding synth in the begining before the trance part-or mod it so it fits in better.

The ambient is fricken tasty tho
~JAG

languid-phenomenon responds:

hmmm......yea, the tee bee sounding synth does kinda sound bad here..... i can see what you mean XD

AS for the tastyness of the ambience....its what i do XD I started learning how to use FL by making ambient music. I would listen to Jason M. Clutz and try my best to make tracks that we at least SOMEwhat close to his XDD

sorry i couldnt make the choice easier on ya, but for me this track just kinda grows on ya :P

Thanks for the review!
